A significant step towards greater representation is underway as Darren Aquino, the national chief advocate and a leading social media influencer for the disability community, has submitted an application to join the White House press core. This endeavor aims to establish a direct line of communication from the disability community to the President's White House, providing timely updates and insights on the state of affairs for people with disabilities. We are currently awaiting the decision on this application, which holds the potential to significantly amplify the voices of disabled individuals on a national platform.
The U.S. Dept of Justice (DOJ) has ruled that several states have violated the Title II of the Americans with Disabilities ACT (ADA) in regards to equal treatment, the necessary modifications, aids and services for people with vision disabilities. Please go to www.ada.gov for more information.
A horrific situation that brought the whole country together. We will forever be indebted to our First Responders and volunteers.
Advocates for Disabled Americans, Veterans, Police, Fireman & Families
(ADA VETs) is a national non-profit, civil rights organization, founded in 1983. It is a family oriented organization, advocating for and defending the rights of disabled Americans. The organization is comprised of members with disabilities. It is the only civil rights policing organization formed under the Constitution of the United States, The XIV Amendment - The Americans with Disabilities Act, and all rights are reserved. We provide nationwide disabilities advocacy, and know civil rights law related to disabilities.
ADA/VETS is a national non-profit organization defending the rights of qualified individuals who have been deemed disabled and who have been excluded from mainstream society due to their disability. This includes the workplace, school, and any accommodation afforded the non-disabled population of American society.
The goal of ADA/VETS is to achieve equal treatment for disabled individuals from birth to death, fair and equal treatment and access under the law, under the XIV Amendment of the Constitution.
ADA/VETS will attempt to secure the entitlement of Constitutional provisions mandated by the Department of Justice-XIV Amendment to the Constitution (Americans with Disabilities Act) for people with disabilities. As per 42 USC Sec. 12182(a): (a) General rule- No individual shall be discriminated against on the basis of disability in the full and equal enjoyment of the goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages, or accommodations of any place of public accommodation by any person who owns, leases (or leases to), or operates a place of public accommodation.
ADA LAW AND THE CHALLEGES FOR THE DISABLED. KNOW YOUR RIGHTS AND DEFEND THEM, LIKE I DID
ADA/VETS realizes that the discrimination and/or the lack of accommodation of disabled individuals still exists. The organization has generated a network from state to state to ultimately guarantee equality where disability is concerned. ADA/VETS will do this by inclusion of other disabled Americans, merchants and partners joining the network and collaboratively working together.

DownloadThe failed implementation of a new case management system (NYEIS to EI-Hub) wreaks havoc on the NYS Early Intervention Program. • Services to 70,000 developmentally disabled children are disrupted • Servicing agencies face crippling financial hardships and potential closure • Impeded access caused by the failed transition violates Title II protections afforded to disabled children under the ADA.
We rely on the generosity of patriotic Americans to fight for the rights and freedoms that our disabled veterans and others need.

Subject: A Call for Immediate Reform in the Protection and Equal Treatment of Disabled Americans
We, the People, represented by Darren Aquino, National Chief Advocate for Disabled Americans, write this letter to demand immediate attention to the ongoing violations of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the systemic failures within our judicial and governmental agencies that continue to disenfranchise disabled individuals.
For over four decades, I have worked tirelessly to defend the rights of disabled Americans, advocating for fair and equal treatment in government services, court access, and legal protections. My work began in 1983 after receiving support from President Ronald Reagan and has continued through five presidential administrations. I have worked directly with Republican leadership, meeting quarterly with policymakers in Washington to ensure that disabled individuals are not left behind. Even President Bill Clinton acknowledged these concerns in a letter he addressed to me, recognizing the inadequacies and failures of ADA enforcement.
However, despite these decades of advocacy, disabled Americans still face grave injustices:
• Title II of the ADA is being violated repeatedly across the country. The district courts, appellate courts, and even the Supreme Court have failed to provide proper accommodations to disabled litigants, blocking their access to justice.
• People with mental disabilities, nursing home residents, and those with cognitive impairments are being denied their rightful benefits due to bureaucratic corruption, judicial negligence, and the failure of administrative law judges to uphold constitutional responsibilities.
• District courts dismiss meritorious cases as “frivolous” to prevent further judicial review, effectively silencing disabled Americans. This practice must end.
• Judges who are overturned three times by appellate courts should be subject to removal—not through impeachment, but through a clear standard of judicial accountability. If a judge has demonstrated repeated failure to uphold their oath, they should not be entrusted with making decisions that impact the lives of Americans.
• Disabled voters are being disenfranchised by widespread corruption that obstructs their ability to cast ballots and fully participate in the democratic process.
A Call for Systemic Reform
We call upon President Trump, Congress, and the Senate to take immediate action:
1. Mandate ADA Compliance in All Federal and State Courts – Every court must have trained ADA representatives to ensure that disabled litigants receive necessary accommodations. This should not take decades to implement.
2. Enforce Judicial Accountability – Judges who fail to comply with ADA mandates or are repeatedly overturned should be subject to automatic review and removal proceedings.
3. Improve Case Submission and Review Processes – The courts must establish clear and accessible procedures for disabled individuals to initiate legal claims without the risk of arbitrary dismissal.
4. Protect Disability Benefits from Mismanagement – The VA and Social Security Administration must be held accountable for wrongfully withholding benefits from disabled individuals, particularly those in fiduciary or guardianship systems.
5. Restore the Power of the People Over Government – The Constitution guarantees that government exists to serve the people, not rule over them. Any institution or judge that acts contrary to the interests of the people must be held accountable.
President Trump: A Leader for the People
President Donald J. Trump has proven that he governs by the will of the people. His landslide victory in the 2025 election is a testament to the fact that Americans demand justice, integrity, and reform. It is time to dismantle the corrupt systems that have disenfranchised disabled Americans for decades. With his leadership, and with the support of Congress and the Senate, we can end these injustices and restore fairness, accountability, and accessibility to government.
I, Darren Aquino, submit this letter on behalf of millions of disabled Americans who have been ignored, silenced, and mistreated for far too long. We demand change. We demand justice. We demand action.
Respectfully submitted,
Darren Aquino
